Morrison’ Criminal Advocacy Competition
After its debut in 2019, the Morrisons Criminal Advocacy Competition added itself to the roster of highly esteemed competitions held here at UOW.
This competition will focus on the skills required of legal graduates to prepare documents for, and present in court, in bail or sentencing matters. This competition will have a strong practical focus and help you get your head around crucial legislative provisions and principles.
Morrisons is a specialist criminal and traffic law firm based in Wollongong, representing clients in the Local, District and Supreme Courts of New South Wales.
The University of Wollongong Law Students’ Society thanks Matt Ward and Graeme Morrison for their kind generosity and support of this initiative and our student competitors.
We look forward to collaborating with them this year to once again support and sponsor this sensational competition. UOW enters two competitively selected teams in this competition, and other Australian universities are invited to register up to two teams.
